Riverside’s National Charity League, Inc. celebrates 60 years of service

The Riverside Chapter of National Charity League, Inc. recently celebrated its 60-year anniversary and welcomed new leaders for 2019-20.


On Monday, May 13, the chapter staged its annual Mother & Daughter Appreciation Night and Awards Ceremony. New Co-Presidents Barbara Robinson and Kristin Varner were welcomed and will begin their duties Saturday, June 1, a news release states.



Immediate Past Presidents Ann Babcock and Lisa Cook and Past Presidents Shelby Roemer, Dawn Van Wagenen, Patricia Morman and Anita Kramer Gorder took part in the ceremony. Newly elected board members were introduced, while outgoing officers were recognized.


Ticktockers, the daughters in the organization, received awards for their philanthropic service this year. The chapter completed more than 12,000 hours of volunteer service in the Riverside community, the release states.
